Woke up 20 minutes early for coffee and caught my whole routine shifting
I used to hit snooze three times and rush around like a crazy person. One morning I just got up, made a proper pour-over, and realized my whole morning was calmer by 7am. Anybody else find one little change that dominoed into a better day?

Wait, so you're telling me that making coffee actually fixed your life? Because I tried that too and now I'm just addicted to caffeine with a slightly calmer start to my chaos. Honestly, I rearranged my sock drawer once and thought I unlocked some secret level of adulting, but nope, still late everywhere. Ngl though, that one domino effect thing is real if you don't mess it up like I did by trying to fold fitted sheets afterwards. Tbh maybe my problem is I'm just hoping a pour-over will magically make me a morning person, and it's not working yet.

Folding fitted sheets is definitely where you lost the plot @janarivera, lol but seriously, is a pour-over really life-changing or just breakfast?

I gotta push back a little on the pour-over thing. In my experience, the ritual itself is what made the difference, not necessarily the coffee being way better. Like, taking three minutes to focus on just one simple task before the day goes nuts actually calms me down. But your mileage may vary, if you're hoping it'll turn you into a morning person it probably won't fix that.
