My aunt's 'secret' chili recipe was just a can of beans with ketchup
Found the card in her kitchen in Phoenix, it literally said '1 can, 1 bottle, heat.' Anyone else have a family recipe that's just... not a recipe?

Honestly the 'heat' part is what gets me. Like, you're just warming up a can of beans and ketchup, that's not cooking. My grandma's famous 'gravy' was a jar of store bought stuff she'd add pepper to. We thought it was magic for years.

Lol "we thought it was magic for years" is so real. So what's the line between making food and just heating stuff up then? Cause @the_jessica has a point too.
