I dunno man, I was at that same fairgrounds last summer and saw a horse kick a panel truck door clean off its hinges... that's a lot of force. You gotta be careful backing up to load or unload near the horse stalls, they get spooked easy with all the noise and commotion. Maybe the client was already looking for a reason to bail and just used this as their excuse.

Really sounds like that client was ready to walk no matter what, and the truck thing gave them an easy out. People can get weird about horse events, so maybe they just didn't want to deal with the chaos of unloading in that environment. Did anyone actually see the truck hit a stall, or was it more of a "he said, she said" situation?

Yeah, I've seen skittish horses do some surprising damage too. Sounds like a tough situation all around, I feel for the guy having to deal with a client who was probably just looking for a way out.

Robin's right, that kick force is no joke. Made me rethink the whole thing.
