Coffee spill on my sketchbook turned into a dress print
Last week, I was drawing a dress design at a busy cafe. I knocked over my cup and coffee went all over the page. Everyone around me laughed, which was pretty embarrassing. But when I looked at the stain, it had a cool, random shape. I decided to trace it and use it as a base for a new floral pattern. Now I'm adding that print to a summer dress I'm making. Do you ever get design ideas from happy accidents?
