Hot take: My niece called my favorite jacket 'grandpa clothes' and it stung
She's 14 and we were at the mall in Austin. I was wearing my good wool blazer. She just looked at it and said 'that looks like grandpa clothes, no one wears stuff like that anymore.' It hit different because she wasn't trying to be mean, just honest. Made me realize my whole 'timeless' style might just be out of touch. Anyone else had a younger person totally critique their go-to look?

Honestly, that's the brutal honesty you only get from a teenager. They have zero filter. But here's the thing, is her view of style the only one that matters? She's 14, her whole world is what's hot at her school right now. A good wool blazer is a classic for a reason. Maybe the real question is, do you feel good in it? Because if you do, that's what actually lasts.

@josepha32, but what if you feel good in it and she still hates it?
