Just found a vintage lace that inspired my new skirt pattern.
How should I use it without making the design too busy?

Oh man, vintage lace is so pretty but also kind of a drama queen. Putting it on pockets feels like using a fancy china plate to serve potato chips. Maybe just a thin strip along the bottom hem? That way it’s special but not yelling over the whole skirt.
