A guy in Boise told me my post caps looked like cheap plastic toys...

He was right, they were the basic ones from the big box store and they did look pretty bad after one winter. I switched to solid aluminum caps from a local supplier, even though they cost about twice as much. Has anyone found a good middle ground for caps that hold up but don't break the bank on a big job?
