Drove past that new subdivision outside of Austin and the fences were a mess
Every single panel was crooked and the gate posts weren't even set in concrete... just shoved in the dirt. I pulled over to get a closer look and counted six gaps big enough for a dog to slip through. Has anyone else seen builders cutting corners like this lately?

Just shoved in the dirt" - holy crap, that's insane for a whole subdivision. Wouldn't trust those fences in a light breeze.

Yeah @carter.casey you're not wrong, I've seen enough fence posts rot out in a season to know that's a disaster waiting to happen. Guess they figure if you can't see the foundation from the street it doesn't count. Must be nice to have that kind of faith in dirt and a prayer.
