Warning: I thought a 4-foot frost line was overkill for a residential fence in Cincinnati
Hit solid, frozen clay at 3 feet on a job last January and had to rent a proper breaker for the last foot. Anyone else run into frost heave issues they didn't plan for?

Oh man, my buddy learned that the hard way putting in a deck! He hit frozen ground way earlier than expected and it totally wrecked his schedule. It's crazy how deep that cold can really get.
