Question about those cheap car warranties that call you nonstop
I fell for one of those car warranty calls about 8 months ago and threw away $350 on a plan that covered nothing. They promised engine and transmission protection but when my alternator died they found a loophole about 'pre-existing wear'. Now every scam number has my info and I get 5 calls a week. Anyone else get suckered by one of these and find a way to block the calls?

Did you actually read the fine print before you paid?

Wait, didn't you used to skip the fine print too before this thread changed your mind?

Oh yeah, 'pre-existing wear' is their favorite excuse I swear. I fell for one too and they used almost the exact same wording when my transmission started acting up. Now I just screen every call and block them as they come, but it feels like a never ending game of whack-a-mole with those numbers.
