Spent 3 hours on TurboTax before realizing I had the wrong tax form the whole time

I was trying to file my 2024 taxes and kept getting error messages that didn't make sense. Turned out I was using a 1099-NEC from 2023 instead of the new one my client sent in January. Cost me 3 hours of redoing everything and a lot of frustration. Has anyone else wasted time on a dumb form mix up like this?

Gotta push back on that a little, @lucasschmidt. Missing a deadline is on you, not a bad break. Triple checking is just basic responsibility, not some noble struggle.
