Just threw away $200 on a cheap glue-less floating floor

I bought a laminate that claimed click-lock was faster and cleaner, but it started popping apart at the seams after just 6 months in my Denver basement. Has anyone else had better luck with click-lock brands versus actual glue-down floors in basements?

Cheap stuff always wins on price and loses over time, just like my $30 blender that died after three smoothies.

That click-lock promise of "cleaner" is a lie since dust still gets under those popping seams.
