A wedding in Phoenix made me rethink using succulents in bouquets
The bride wanted a desert theme, but the succulents wilted in the heat before the ceremony even started. I've started keeping a small mister in my kit for any outdoor events now. Has anyone found a better way to keep them from drying out so fast?

Wait, what kind of succulents were they?

Oh wow, I always thought succulents were the tough ones. I tried them for centerpieces once and they got all soft and sad in just a couple hours. Your mister idea is smart... I might have to start doing that too.

Actually, they probably got soft from too much water at the event. Succulents hate wet feet and centerpieces often get overwatered. A mister is good for dry air, but the real trick is letting the soil dry out completely.
