Wait, here's a thing nobody says - sometimes dressing it up means taking things away, not adding more. I get stuck trying to put another necklace or pin on something and it just gets messy. Editing down to one amazing detail with clean space around it can look way more expensive and classy than a bunch of stuff all at once. Try looking at your outfit and asking what you can remove to make the one good piece stand out better.
