Heard a client say they'd never order a 'basic' rose arrangement again
Honestly, it was at a bridal expo in Tampa, and the bride told her mom that roses are boring and overdone for centerpieces. Tbh, it made me realize maybe we're pushing classic styles too hard when clients actually want more unique stems. What's a flower you think gets unfairly labeled as boring?

What about carnations, are they underrated?

Underrated" is the perfect word for them. They last forever in a vase and come in wild colors. Got some for my kitchen table weeks ago and they're still kicking.

I read a florist blog that called carnations the most misunderstood flower. They said people only remember the cheap, dyed ones from grocery stores, but garden varieties have this amazing spicy smell and delicate, ruffled petals.
