Oh man, I totally get that. Those little bits of wisdom from strangers just stick with you, don't they? It's like they hand you this tiny piece of truth you didn't even know you needed. Now I'm really curious what she said about the peonies.

Right? That peony thing hits home. I used to kill every plant I owned by overwatering, trying to force growth. Now I just check the soil, give them light, and leave them alone. The ones that thrive do it on their own schedule. It's a good reminder to back off sometimes, with gardens and with people.

Yeah exactly, it's those small moments that feel bigger later. She told me peonies only bloom when they're ready, no matter how much you fuss over them, and that people are like that too. Made me realize how much we rush things that need their own time.
