I used to demand perfect order in every centerpiece.

In my first years, I measured every stem for balance. It made things slow and kind of boring. A client asked for a 'just picked' look, and it opened my eyes. Now I mix heights and textures on purpose. The results feel more alive, and I have more fun making them.

How did you stop overthinking it? I had to force myself to leave a couple stems longer on purpose. Felt wrong but looked way better.

Disagree on that, I always cut stems shorter for a neat look. Overthinking helps me get it just right, even if it takes longer.

You measured every single stem? That's next level, I could never be that careful.
