Spent $400 on a fancy flower cooler and it's the worst buy I ever made
I got talked into a high-end cooler for my shop last year, thinking it would keep blooms fresher longer. The thing is, it's way too powerful and actually dries out the stems if you don't watch the humidity like a hawk. I've lost more product to wilt in that thing than I ever did in my old, simple fridge. For that price, I expected it to make my life easier, not create a whole new problem to manage. Has anyone else had cooler issues that cost them money instead of saving it?

Honestly that sounds like a pain, but is it really that big of a deal? Can't you just throw a damp towel in there or something to fix the humidity? For that much money you'd think it would have a simple setting to adjust.

Oh man, that damp towel trick is a total myth. It barely adds any steam and just makes a mess. The real issue is that ovens need to blast a lot of steam fast at the exact right time to get that crust. A wet towel just sort of sits there and makes everything soggy. For the price of these fancy ovens, you'd think they'd all have a steam button, but nope. Some companies just skip it to keep costs down, which is pretty annoying.

Yeah @kellys78, I thought that too until my bread kept coming out like a brick.
