Heard a guy at the flea market say he still uses a straight razor

Tbh, it made me look up how to strop a blade properly. Honestly, the whole ritual of it seems way more mindful than just grabbing a disposable. Anyone else actually keep up with this kind of shaving?

Oh wow, that's cool! I read an article once about how the whole process forces you to slow down and actually pay attention. It really does sound like a nice little daily ritual instead of just another chore.

Man, that reminds me of my grandpa. He had this whole leather strop hanging in his bathroom, and the sound of him sharpening that thing is burned into my memory.
