Shoutout to my grandpa's old coin press kit
Back in 1998, he would let me use his hand press to make souvenir pennies at our town fair. We'd pick a blank, line up the die, and crank the handle together. Now you just put a quarter in a machine and it does it for you, which feels empty. Anyone else miss the clunky, hands-on way of making keepsakes?

Oh man, I used to think those kinds of memories were silly. But I had one happen last year and it totally changed my mind.
