Hit exactly 10,000 steps right in front of a weird yard statue

I was walking my usual loop in the suburbs yesterday, checking my phone for no reason. My step counter hit 9,999, then ticked over to 10,000 just as I stopped in front of this house with a giant garden gnome dressed like a pirate. It felt like the universe giving me a weird high-five for hitting that round number. The gnome even had a little eye patch. I stood there for a minute just laughing at the timing. Has anyone else had a random goal line up with something silly like that?

Oh that's perfect timing, I love when stuff like that happens. I mean, what are the odds you'd stop right in front of the pirate gnome house? It makes me wonder if you ever noticed that statue before on your walks, or if it was like it just appeared for that exact moment.

Seriously dianahayes, it's a plastic gnome. Maybe the wind knocked it over.
