I thought the 'mystery rock pile' on the old Mill Creek trail was just a weird prank, but after finding a 1923 penny near it this morning, I'm starting to believe the local history buffs.
Has anyone else found something that made them change their mind about a local walking spot legend?

That's pretty wild. Found an old horseshoe near the quarry once, made me wonder about all the stories.

Ever wonder if those old things are lucky or just rusty junk? My uncle cleaned out a barn and found a whole box of them, like 20 horseshoes just piled up. He tried to give me one but it was so heavy and bent out of shape. I kept it on a shelf for a while but it just collected dust. Felt more like holding onto someone else's old problem than any good luck charm.
