A neighbor in my building taught me a better way to ask for help after my groceries spilled everywhere.

That "better way to ask for help" thing is real. My buddy once just stood there staring at his flat tire until a guy stopped and asked if he needed a hand. He said he felt stupid not just waving someone down first. Sometimes you gotta just put the ask out there.

Yeah, I had my car battery die in a grocery store lot last winter. Just sat there for ten minutes feeling like an idiot. Finally got out, popped the hood, and made eye contact with the next guy walking to his truck. He came right over with jumper cables. Turns out most people are just waiting for a clear signal to step in.
