My neighbor in Phoenix said my porch light was too bright for sharing stories after dark.

Switched to a soft 40-watt bulb last month and now we actually stay out talking past nine.

Honestly it's wild how much light changes the mood. That harsh white light feels like an interrogation, you just want to go inside. But a soft, warm glow? That's like an invitation. It's the difference between a waiting room and a living room. My old motion sensor light would blast on and scare everyone, totally killed the vibe.
