My whole week got turned around by a random act of kindness at the grocery store
I was having a terrible Monday, feeling really down, and a stranger in line at the Safeway on 7th paid for my coffee when my card got declined. Has a small moment like that ever completely shifted your mood?
Does a free coffee really fix a bad week? It's a nice gesture, but it feels like we put too much weight on these tiny moments. My mood depends on bigger things in my life, not a stranger's small change. It seems like a quick fix that doesn't last. I guess I just don't get that uplift from something so small.
