Question about reviving wilted porch plants
I overwatered them for weeks before learning to test the soil moisture.

Letting the top inch dry is key, but move wilted plants to shade so they can recover.

Man, I used to just hose down my pots every day thinking they were thirsty. Killing a couple basil plants made me try the finger test, and finding soaked soil a knuckle deep was a real wake-up call. Now I let the top inch get dry before adding water, and even my saddest fern perked up after a week. That shift from guessing to checking saved my porch garden.
