My drone review backfired big time last weekend at the park

I was out at Centennial Park testing a new flight controller for a review I was writing. About 4 minutes in, the thing just dropped out of the sky and bounced off a bench. Turns out I skimped on checking the solder joints on the power leads. I had to rebuild the whole arm and replace two motors. Now I always bench test with a multimeter before I even arm it. Anyone else ever have a review unit fail on them mid flight?

Yo @ivanross you think my gut felt it worse than the bench felt my dignity? I swear benches have a personal vendetta against me every time I try to do something athletic. At least I can say my midsection is a certified impact tester now.
