My new phone's screen went from perfect to scratched in a week because I skipped the case.

I was trying to keep it slim, but after it slid off my coffee table onto a hardwood floor, there are three deep gouges that catch my thumb every time I swipe, so what screen protector actually works with curved edges?

Skipping the case is always a gamble. For curved edges, you want a wet-apply film protector, the glass ones never stick right.

Saw a tech review that basically said the same thing. They tested like five different glass ones on a curved screen phone and all had lifting at the edges. The wet install films stayed put but you lose some of that glass feel.

Actually, some glass ones do stick right if they have the full adhesive layer. The cheap ones with just edge glue always lift, but the good ones with glue across the whole screen can work. It just costs more to get one that fits right.
