Shoutout to my smartwatch for showing me a 72-hour battery life
I just hit that number on a single charge, which is way longer than the 48 hours they advertised. Anyone else have a gadget that wildly exceeded its specs?

That's a huge jump over the advertised time. Did you change any settings to get there, or was it just normal use? I'm curious if turning off certain features, like always-on display or constant heart rate, makes that big a difference.

My old Garmin watch lasted a full week on one charge, no problem.

Yeah, that "full week on one charge" thing is what I miss most about older Garmins. My old Forerunner would easily go seven days, even with a few GPS runs thrown in. I've found turning off the pulse ox sensor on my newer model, @kevin_west, buys back a lot of that battery life. It's a trade-off, but for me, not having to charge it every other day is worth it.
