Question about sore knees after kneeling to install storefront glass

Ngl, my knees are killing me after a week of low-level work on a big commercial job. I'm using knee pads but the pain still creeps in by afternoon. What kind of stretches or better pads do you all recommend to deal with this?

Hey, what about trying a foam kneeling mat instead? My buddy who does flooring swears by them, said the knee pads were just concentrating the pressure. He got one of those thick puzzle-piece mats and cuts off a square to bring to jobs, total game changer for him. @jaken28, your pad might be great but maybe this guy needs a softer base to start with.
