I based a whole brand palette on my neighbor's accidentally perfect graffiti
They tagged a wall with spray paint, and the color combo was so good I used it for a freelance project (without asking first). Now the client loves it, but I feel weird since the inspo was technically vandalism. Is it okay to use found art like this if you transform it for design work?

Read somewhere that street art exists in this gray area, so maybe it's fine since you changed it for your own thing.
