The new exhibit at the Chicago Art Institute has some wild color combos

I was there last weekend and the 'Color & Form' show in the modern wing is packed. They have this one section with 1970s Polish film posters that just blew my mind. The designers used these super bright oranges and deep blues together in a way I'd never try. It made me want to experiment with clashing colors in my own work. Has anyone else seen a recent exhibit that gave them a fresh idea for a palette?

Those Polish posters sound amazing! Was there a specific film or artist's work that stood out to you the most? I'm trying to picture how they balanced that bright orange with the deep blue without it looking messy. Did they use a lot of black or white lines to separate the colors, or did they just let them clash?

Oh, they totally let the orange and blue clash on purpose.

Actually think those color clashes just look messy and dated.
