In my experience, your plans going wrong can show you better spots. We were trying to reach a well-known mountain pass, but a landslide had blocked the road for days. We had to take a long, winding backroad through what looked like empty hills. Suddenly, we came upon this entire hidden valley just bursting with colors, no other people around, and it felt like our own secret find.

Totally get that hidden valley feeling. Last year a wrong turn on a forest service road took us to this natural hot spring completely by accident, just a quiet pool in the rocks. It was way better than the crowded spot we were actually aiming for. Sometimes the universe just gives you a better plan for free.
