Showerthought: Pull-up bars are popping up everywhere in my suburb

I counted five homes with doorway pull-up bars just on my block this week. This seems like a big change from a few years ago. Are you seeing more home workout gear in your area?

Wasn't it just a fitness fad at first? I used to roll my eyes at that stuff, figuring people would use it for a week and forget it. But now I see my neighbor out there doing pull-ups while his grill heats up, and another guy has his kids hanging on it. It's just part of the yard now, like a garden hose. Guess it stuck around.

My buddy laughed when his wife bought one, but now his teenagers use it more than the TV. It just blends into the backyard.
