Browsing K-pop updates, I stumbled on news about staff getting flexible schedules.

It mentioned how one big company is testing out a new system. They hope it helps keep people from getting too stressed. Do you think this will spread to more places?

Flexible hours sound nice on paper, but does it fix the real problem? That industry runs on constant deadlines and fan demands that don't care what time it is. If the album drop is Friday, someone is working overnight whether their schedule is "flexible" or not. Isn't this just letting people choose their own burnout hours?

But what if flexible hours let you plan around the crunch times? I've managed teams with tight deadlines where we set clear rules for busy periods. We made sure to tackle easier tasks early so the hard push later felt planned. People could then take real breaks after the rush instead of always being on call. It's about control over your time, not just when you burn out. Doesn't that help more than a fixed schedule that ignores reality?

Totally, @janar63, flex hours let you plan around the crunch.
