Spoke up and my manager listened. What now?

It felt like a real win. How do I make this a habit?

I just pick one small thing each week to mention.

Speaking up every time can make you seem complain-y instead of helpful. Your manager might listen once but get tired if it becomes a habit. Sometimes letting small things go keeps the peace better.

Yeah that "letting small things go" idea reminds me of my friend who kept quiet about a broken coffee maker at her old job. After six months of awful coffee, she finally mentioned it and her boss was like "why didn't you say something on day two?

Ugh, that's such a tough balance. How do you even know what's small enough to let go?
