Sorting through receipts actually calms me down after a long day
It's weird, I know. But seeing where my money went makes me feel in charge.

Ever notice how some receipts just feel different in your hands? Like, I found an old baseball ticket stub in a jacket pocket last week, totally forgot I even went to that game. Spent like ten minutes just staring at it, then wound up sorting a whole drawer of random paper bits, bus transfers, a receipt for gas station coffee. Felt weirdly in charge by the end, just knowing where it all was.
