Wait, "shaved a good chunk"? How much are we talking here? I tried something similar and only got like $5 off, lol. My bill was still crazy high after that. Did you have to call them or was it an online thing?

honestly i tried that and my bill went UP because i was leaving lights on all night thinking it was saving money lol. the sunrise sensor clicked on but then my porch light stayed off too late and i ended up tripping over the dog. plus my energy company charges peak rates in the morning so having everything off when the sun comes up actually meant my heater kicked on more. ended up costing me like $12 extra that month. i turned that setting off real quick.
