I mean, maybe it's less about being afraid and more that the VR space removes all the physical noise? Like, we're just voices and ideas there, so the connection feels more direct.

Honestly, I used to agree with you. Then @faithcampbell framed it as removing noise, not fear, and that... yeah, that clicked for me.

Yeah I read something about how our brains process digital vs face to face talks differently. It's not always about fear, sometimes the lack of body language just lets you focus on the words. Makes you wonder if we're overcomplicating things in person lol.
