Vent: I think slow yoga flows are better for learning than quick ones
Everyone seems to love fast vinyasa for a challenge. I found that moving slowly in my flows let me really check my alignment, and that made a big difference.

Rushing through anything usually means missing the important details.

Hold on, her elbows were bending out in every single chaturanga? That's such a basic form mistake it's hard to believe. How did she not feel that strain in her shoulders immediately? It's crazy that slowing down was the only way to spot something that obvious.

Yeah, the part about moving slowly to check your alignment really hits home. My friend used to get so frustrated in fast vinyasa classes because her shoulders kept hurting. She switched to a super slow class for a month, and it totally clicked for her. She finally saw how her elbows were bending out in chaturanga the whole time. Fixing that small thing in slow motion made the fast flows way safer and actually enjoyable for her later on.
