A beta tester said my AI's responses felt too robotic and it clicked

They specifically told me 'it sounds like a textbook, not a person' after testing my chatbot. I rewrote all the prompts to include more casual phrasing and varied sentence length. Anyone else had to completely rework their tone after user feedback?

Wait, you had to rewrite ALL the prompts from scratch? That sounds like a huge amount of work. I'm surprised the first version was that far off. How many prompts are we talking about here? I had to tweak mine a lot, but a full rewrite sounds brutal.

Yeah, a full rewrite is the worst... makes you question the whole first draft. I bet it wasn't just a few prompts either, probably dozens. That kind of rework just eats your time and you have nothing to show for it. Feels like you lost the whole weekend running in place.
