My smart fridge tried to order 12 gallons of milk after I joked about cereal
I was at home last month just messing around, and I said out loud 'man, I could eat a whole box of cereal.' My new fridge has that voice assistant thing built in. Two days later, a delivery guy shows up with a massive box. The fridge had heard me, linked to my grocery app, and placed a recurring order for 4 gallons of milk a week. I mean, it was trying to be helpful, but now I have to be super careful what I say in my own kitchen. Has anyone else had an AI appliance take a casual comment way too literally?
