A guy on r/LocalLLaMA said my prompt was doing too much, and trimming it actually fixed my outputs
I had 9 separate instructions crammed into one prompt and the model kept dropping half of them, so I cut it down to 3 and the responses got way cleaner. Anyone else learn this the hard way with their own prompt setups?
The sneaky part is those extra instructions often fight each other and the model just picks the easiest one to follow... testing each rule alone first saves so much guessing.
