After a month with an AI fitness coach app, I think it's overrated

I gave one of those AI workout apps a shot to help with my running. Lots of people say they adjust perfectly to your progress and keep you motivated. But mine just kept pushing harder routines even when I was sore from my last job, and it felt generic. It didn't seem to learn from my feedback about needing more rest days. Do these apps really get how real people's bodies and schedules work?

Does the AI forget we need breaks? I still get sore from sleeping wrong, so maybe it's just clueless.

Totally get that. Maybe the AI just never had to deal with a real body before.

Think about how the app might be set up to keep you subscribed, not actually adapt to you. Tbh, more workouts probably look better on their stats sheet. It just ignores when you need a break.
