Am I the only one whose AI photo enhancer turned my dog into a totally different animal?
I ran a blurry pic of my corgi, Biscuit, through one of those free AI upscalers on Tuesday and it gave him tiger stripes and a longer snout. I get that it fills in gaps, but going from fluffball to jungle cat in one 10 second pass is a wild leap. Anyone know a model that actually leaves the subject alone and just sharpens the pixels?

That is rough. Poor Biscuit probably has no idea he got turned into a jungle cat. I tried one of those free ones on a pic of my old lab and it gave him extra toes and a weird eye, so you are not alone. The paid ones seem to do less guessing, but honestly I have had better luck just using my phone's built in sharpening tool and leaving it at that.
