Bought a $40 AI writing helper and it actually paid for itself this month
I was on the fence about spending money on an AI tool, but I got a subscription to a grammar and tone checker called WriteRight for about forty bucks. It was mostly to help me clean up my project reports faster. This week, I had to draft three big client updates under a tight deadline. The tool caught a bunch of awkward phrasing and passive voice I would have missed, and I finished them in half the usual time. My boss actually said the last one was 'exceptionally clear' which never happens. Has anyone else had a small AI tool investment really come through for them? I'm curious what other helpers are out there.

That "exceptionally clear" feedback from your boss is the BEST feeling. Totally get why that made the tool worth it.

I mean, what did that clear feedback actually help you do next? Like, did it change how you work now or just feel good in the moment? Idk, maybe it's just me but I feel like the real test is if it sticks.

My buddy got that kind of clear feedback and it totally changed how he runs his team now, @ray_miller84.
