I finally got an AI tool to help me write better shift notes for the kitchen
Last Tuesday I spent 20 minutes feeding my old shift notes into a free AI text analyzer. It showed me I always leave out the prep counts and the fryer oil temps. My sous chef actually said "this is way more useful" when I handed him the new version. Has anyone else used AI to clean up their work reports for a busy team?

Did you have to teach it kitchen terms or did it pick those up on its own?

Used to think they had to be taught everything, but nope, picked it up naturally.

Wait, you actually got your sous chef to notice? That's huge. I tried feeding mine my reports and it kept trying to add emojis to my prep counts (like a little egg next to the egg wash inventory) which was honestly absurd but also kind of cute. But once I told it to stop being cute and just list the oil temps it cleaned up fast. Made me realize how much filler I was writing in the old notes too, like whole sentences about "the walk-in being organized" when really someone just shoved a case of tomatoes in there sideways.
