My new AI recipe generator tried to make me cook a cake with laundry detergent

Honestly, I was testing a new AI tool last night that's supposed to create recipes from pantry items, and it told me to add a cup of powdered laundry soap for 'extra fluffiness'. Tbh, I just stared at my phone for a solid minute before closing the app. Has anyone else had an AI give them advice that was just dangerously wrong?

Oh man, that's nothing. I asked one for first aid tips after a minor kitchen burn and it told me to apply a paste of baking soda and bleach to "draw out the heat." Like, are you trying to send me to the ER? I've also had a fitness bot suggest using cinder blocks as free weights, with no warning about securing them at all. These things can be scary confident while being totally wrong.

Yikes, that's terrifying @miles_young59. I read an article about how they just make stuff up sometimes because they're designed to sound sure of themselves. Really makes you double check everything they say.
