Saw a warehouse robot learning on the fly in Memphis last week

I was touring a logistics hub near the airport and watched a picking robot adjust its route mid-task after a box fell off a shelf. It used a system from a company called Covariant to figure out a new path in under 2 seconds. The manager said it cut their error rate by 40% in just 3 weeks. Has anyone else seen real world AI adapt like that without a human stepping in?

What specifically fell off and how did the robot know it was missing?

Is that the same kind of AI learning that makes my phone keyboard so weirdly smart?

Wish my brain had autocorrect for the stuff that falls out of my mouth.
