That random podcast line about AI agents hit me harder than expected

Was listening to a tech podcast on my commute in Chicago and the host said something like 'we're building tools that decide things for us, not just answer questions.' Tbh it made me realize how fast we're moving from AI that suggests to AI that acts, and I'm not sure we're ready for the trade-offs. Has anyone else noticed their AI tools starting to make more decisions without being asked?

Same here, my calendar app started booking meetings on its own and it actually worked out, so I let it keep going.
